Ant-Man comienza a filmar; revela sinopsis y nuevo elenco

Pareció que nunca iba a pasar pero, llegó el momento y Ant-Man comenzó a filmar oficialmente. Si hay una película que tendrá que grabar a las millas es esta. Luego de un terrible verano de mala prensa debido a la renuncia de Edgar Wright y la revelación de las incomodas y antipáticas razones, el filme sobre el diminuto héroe anuncio hoy sus primeros días de filmación, junto a nuevos nombres que participaran y su sinopsis oficial.

Entre el nuevo elenco, llama la atención especialmente Judy Greer, quien siempre es un “plus” en todo lo que hace y es bienvenida en cualquier cosa. El otro nombre es John Slattery, o mejor conocido como “la versión mayor del papa de Tony Stark, Howard Stark, que vimos en el video de Iron Man 2”. Esto pudiera confirmar el rumor de que la unión de Ant-Man con el resto del universo fílmico de Marvel es precisamente una escena de “flashback” con miembros fundadores de S.H.I.E.L.D., incluyendo a Stark.

Sinopsis: Armado con la asombrosa capacidad para reducir su tamaño de escala, pero aumentando su fuerza, el estafador Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) debe aceptar su héroe interiory ayudar a su mentor, el Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), a proteger el secreto detrás de su espectacular traje de Ant-Man de una nueva generación de imponentes amenazas. Contra obstáculos aparentemente insuperables, Pym y Lang deben planificar y lograr un atraco que salvará el mundo.

Aunque no tengo nada en contra de Peyton Reed, siempre quedará la sensación de lo que pudo ser Ant-Man en las manos del gran Edgar Wright. Solo esperamos que tanto problema y una filmación apurada no resulte en que este sea el “combo-breaker” del roll que ha tenido Marvel. Ant-Man estrena el 17 de julio del 2015.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (August, 18, 2014) – Marvel Studios began principal photography today in San Francisco, California, on its newest Super Hero franchise Marvel’s “Ant-Man.” The film brings one of Marvel comics’ original founding members of The Avengers into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The production also shoots on location in Atlanta, Georgia, which serves as the base for the film’s production.

Set for release in the United States on July 17, 2015, the film is directed by Peyton Reed (“Bring it On,” “The Break-Up”) and stars Paul Rudd (“I Love You Man,” “Role Models”) as Scott Lang aka Ant-Man, and Michael Douglas (“Behind The Candelabra,” “Wall Street”) as his mentor Dr. Hank Pym and Evangeline Lilly (“The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” “Lost”) as Hope Van Dyne, daughter of Hank Pym.
